- Wax model creating: Use wax to make pattern wax, Yanshan Precision Machinery co., Ltd can make full line pattern wax including filled waxes, non-filled wax and soluble waxes.
- Mold making: The mold could have big size and is usually made of latex, polyurethane rubber or silicone, which is supported by an outer mold.
- Wax: Pour the melted wax into the mold until the uniform coating as thick as 1/8 inches (3 mm), repeat the process until getting desired thickness.
- Wax removing: Remove the hollow wax copy of the original model from the mold. These materials can be recycled multiple times due to their high quality.
- Spruing: Formed wax copy with resin treelike structure that provides paths for smooth flow of the molten casting material and air escape.
- Burnout: Put the ceramic shell-coated piece into the kiln. Use the heat to hard the silicon dioxide coating into shells and completely melt the wax.
- Pouring: Place the shell into the sand after all moisture have been removed by reheating. Pour the molten steel from the furnace into the shell, then patched.
- Release: The shell is hammered or sanded to release the rough casting.
