Sodium Formate Powder
Features and Applications
Sodium formate powder, namely NaCHO2 , is a dry crystalline organic salt, and it is of high purity. This product is mainly adopted to form drilling, workover and completion fluids with density range of 8.4-11.0 lb/gal (1004-1320 kg/m3).
The produced NaBr liquid is an assuring shale stabilizer for water-sensitive clay/shale formations and clay-containing sandstones, offering an eco-friendly choice to work instead of chloride brines.
