Aluminum Alloys in Architectural Industry
DLS Aluminum provides a selection of aluminum alloys for the architectural industry, including aluminum plates, aluminum sheets, aluminum foils, aluminum coils, and aluminum profiles. Aluminum alloys offer the following advantages:
①Corrosion resistance
Aluminum alloys feature excellent corrosion resistance. They can make contact with alkaline materials such as concrete, cement mortar, and lime without causing problematic corrosion over time. You have no need to worry about the service life of maintenance of these materials.
②Lightweight and high strength
The weight of aluminum alloy is light, but its strength to weight ratio is similar to steel structures. Using aluminum alloy can greatly decrease architectural weight and can also minimize material and transportation costs. Today, our 5000 series and 6000 series aluminum alloys are widely used in architectural structure.
③Good machinability
Aluminum alloy can be processed into different shapes easily and it is conveniently transported, which can accelerate the construction of buildings and save construction costs.
④Easy recovery
The regeneration properties of aluminum alloy are higher than that of any other common metal. Aluminum alloy materials can be recovered and reused when dismantling buildings, which is very economical.
