Description
The precision speed reducer worm shaft is made using a medium carbon steel. The tooth face of the worm shaft has been treated through a carburizing (case-hardened treatment), nitrating or quenching in order to reach a higher surface hardness that reaches anywhere between 35 to 60HRC.
