Precision Worm Shaft
Worm shafts are a rotating axis with curved teeth, and work in conjunction with a worm gear in order to achieve a relatively high reduction ratio, and are most often used in transmission systems. Worm shafts feature a helical thread, and with a worm gear axis at the terminal, the worm shaft will rotate the worm gear, and prevent reverse rotation of the gear.
JST produces precision worm shafts in a variety of materials according to customer needs, and will confirm the thread number with the client before production, as the thread number on a worm shaft, and the teeth number on a worm gear will decide the gear ratio. For customization services, please do not hesitate to contact us, as we have more than 10 years of experience in customization of worm shafts.
