Concave Linear Motion Spline
The GJZD concave linear motion spline is easy to assemble with compact structure. The concave linear motion spline is characterized by high hardness and long travel life, as its components are made of quality bearing steel: HRC58 quenched alloy steel or carburized and quenched alloy structural steel for the spline nut, and HRC58 quenched alloy steel for the spline bearing. While the balls roll and circulate through the raceway and the ball return path, the spline nut and the spline shaft are making linear motion.
The GJZD concave linear motion spline with end housing structure uses closed and smooth raceway. Compared to the other two types of spline, it has better performance in reversing the motion, and is able to make smoother and more agile linear motion along the spline shaft within a wide speed range. The raceway is precisely ground to R-shaped groove whose diameter is approximate to the ball diameter. This design can increase the load carrying capability by increasing the contact area of the ball.
In addition, as the concave linear motion spline with end housing structure can realize interference fit, the toque generated from the spline nut or the spline shaft can be transferred by balls in an even and smooth way. Operation in high speed straight motion and rotation can be achieved, as zero clearance or interference fit is used in rotational direction.
The concave linear motion spline can be applied to spindle of spot welding machine, tool post, indexing shaft, arms of industrial robot, automatic loader, measuring instrument, main shaft of automatic plotting machine, wire winder, main shaft of packaging machine, and more.
