Concave Linear Motion Spline
The GJZG concave linear motion spline has the advantages of long service life and high rigidity, as the spline nut is made of HRC58 quenched alloy steel or carburized and quenched alloy structural steel, and the spline shaft is made of HRC58 quenched alloy steel. It has a compact structure and is easy to assemble.
As the GJZG concave linear motion spline can achieve zero clearance, balls are capable of transmitting the toque generated from the spline nut or the spline shaft evenly and smoothly. Should the spline shaft be pulled out of the nut, the ball will stay in its place, due to the use of retainers. The concave linear motion spline can work in high speed motion and rotation, for zero clearance or interference fit in rotational direction is achievable. The concave linear motion spline uses precisely ground R-shaped groove whose diameter is almost equal to the ball diameter. This design makes larger contact area of ball the possible and brings higher load bearing capacity.
The concave linear motion spline has a round cross section. It can be designed with a journal diameter larger than that of the convex spline. While the spline shaft and the spline nut make a linear motion, the balls roll and circulate in the raceway and the ball return path.
