The compact GPRS/NB-IoT smart gas meter from Zenner are designed with compact steel or aluminum shell integrated with GPRS/NB-IoT Internet of Things communication technology to transmit data regarding the gas usage. In addition to the diaphragm gas meter and high precision metering function, it features automatic data transmission (automatic meter reading) on regular basis, remote credit reloads, IC card credit prepaid, remote valve control, remote price adjustment, automatic error report, gas consumption recording, etc. It is safe and reliable as well as improving the management efficiency of gas company significantly. Thus, it is a mechatronics product that effectively improves the management quality of the gas company.
Features
- Latest technology: implement the latest generation of low-power wide-area network, LPWAN integrated with NarrowBand-Internet of Things, NB-Iot to transmit data which features wide coverage, large connection and low power consumption. Besides, GPRS technology can be implemented to transmit data.
- Safe and reliable: data transmission via public network of the mobile service provider as well as GPRS/NB-Iot communication module and SIM card, safe and reliable.
- Allow data upload based on self-setting period interval, upload upon clicking the button or upload upon electricity is connected.
- Valve can be closed remotely in accordance to emergency incident or payment overdue usage.
- Self-service top up: bill payment and top up through app
- Automatic valve closure due to magnetic disruption, large flow through volume, low electric supply. Error report will be uploaded automatically to the management system to facilitate management.
- Allow IC card credit reload and remote reload to purchase gas.
- Valve closure when gas is not used after N days can be set to ensure safety usage.
- Optional function: temperature compensation and the tiered pricing function can be added based on your need.
