Protective Bellows (Bellow with Stainless Steel Cover for Machine Tool Protection)
Bellows are common used protective devices for machines. This protective bellow is an armored vertical cover made of stainless steel. It is designed to protect the guideways of industrial machines from heated metal chips or other sharp materials. Equipped with connection parts made of premium rubber resistant to oil and corrosion, it is often attached with aluminum alloy.
In most cases, the guide plate is unnecessary and therefore it has a smaller structure and eye-pleasing appearance. Especially, it is highly suitable for working places with limited space.
Features
This bellow is designed to endure impacts and high temperature( 900℃)caused by the heated metal chips. The stainless steel armor on each façade could be fixed or swing. The swinging armors could be forced to swing outward at 90° when they are compressed. If fixed, the armor would keep static. Importantly, the well cohered pre-set armors could effectively prevent dust, sand and iron chips and so on.
Applications
This multi-function protective bellow is a type of retractable cover, widely used for the guideways and horizontal beams of grinders, precision instruments, measuring instruments and NC machines and etc.
