Diamond Drill Bit
If most of your hole drilling work involves glass, then our line of diamond drill bits will meet your needs. They range is diameter from 5 to 100mm. The glass contact area on the diamond drill is a super hard, wear resistant diamond abrasive. It grinds into the surface, rather than cutting through it.
The diamond drill bit is made by fusing together the synthetic diamond powder with metal via sintering or hot pressing. The resulting diamond tool is field tested to last between 3,000 and 5,000 hole drilling cycles.
Other than glass, this diamond drill bit also works with ceramic, marble and other brittle materials. It is typically designed for benching and drilling operations, and works at an extremely high speed. The diamond bit will not chip, works in a stable manner and is reliable for a long service life, saving replacement costs.
We provide three types of glass drill bits: straight shank, cone shank and threaded shank.
