Specifications
- Type: crucible
- Shape: octagonal
- Energy: electromagnetic induction heating
- Capacity: 500kg
- Process temperature: 630℃-680℃
- Structure: furnace casing, furnace lining, electronic control system, electromagnetic induction coil, high temperature wire
Working principle
The electromagnetic induction melting furnace melts aluminum alloy and zinc alloy with the radiant and uniform heat generated from electromagnetic induction.
Furnace structure
- External structure
1) Octagonal casing made of a 6mm thick steel plate
2) Crucible cover plate integrally formed with 50mm castable
3) Bottom plate made of 8mm thick steel plate
4) Cover made of 10mm thick steel plate
5) Holding furnace cover (removable): outer layer is 6mm thick, inner layer is made of 60mm thick insulation material. Formed by one stamping, the holding furnace cover is manually lifted, and can be rotated at 360° - Construction material of furnace lining
1) Three layers of high temperature insulation boards (Morgan-imported)
2) Insulated cotton with the density of 260
3) Specially developed anti-radiation holding barrel
4) Specially developed insulation materials - Heating elements
1) High temperature copper wire with the diameter of 35mm for electromagnetic induction
2) Silicon carbide graphite protective cover
3) Thermocouple: L-shaped stainless steel thermocouple with an accuracy of ± 1°C

Technical requirements
- With the exception of the crucible, the furnace features a one-year warranty.
- The electromagnetic induction melting furnace can be directly used once it is connected to a power source. The crucible must be heated first before first furnace use. The heating crucible’s purpose at specific high temperatures: the first phase of low heat dries the crucible, when the second phase of high heat changes physical glaze properties on the crucible surface to better protect and extend the crucible’s service life.
- The electromagnetic induction melting furnace is equipped with an automatic alarm system that will automatically alarm in the event of a fault and power off to stop heating, ensuring production and user safety.
Installation, debugging and transportation
We are responsible for the transportation of equipment to the customers factory, transportation costs, installation and operation, and equipment training. We do not cover hoisting expenses incurred by unloading and placing equipment in place.
Installation conditions
- The installation from the power grid wiring to national standard wire (at least 35mm) to be connected to the furnace is up to the buyer.
- The primary control cabinet power (380V, 50Hz, with additional circuit breaker) should be supplied by the buyer.
- The wiring from the control cabinet to the furnace is achieved using a high temperature resistant metal casing, which is supplied by us as long as it is within 4 meters.
- Notice on power distribution: Buyers should preinstall the power supply (over 220A) with air switches near the installation location with a control cabinet. A three-phase five-wire system with 35mm copper core, 4mm null line and 6mm earth wire is required.
- The electricity box must be connected to tap water for circulating cooling.
