Our drive-in/drive-thru pallet racks are ideal for storing large stocks of relatively few product types. High density system reduces space usage by 35%, compared with selective pallet rack. Meanwhile, it helps optimize space, about 75%, than conventional pallet rack. There are two storage methods available: FILO (first in, last out) and FIFO (first in, first out). FILO is quite suitable for materials with long shelf life like electronic products, office supplies and tobacco, while FIFO is advantageous for materials with an expiration date such as medicine, food and beverage.

Multiple storage modes
Before deciding the ideal layout of pallet racking system, the following considerations even more should be taken into account: 1) floor space and building height 2) placement of building doors, columns and fire equipments.
The choice of pallet racking systems is influenced by items to some degree. With the purpose of safe work conditions, the structural limit of drive-in/drive-thru pallet racks should be:the maximum height of upright: 5 levels (7m/24ft); the maximum depth of lane: 7 pallets (9m/28ft); the maximum weight of pallet: 1100kg (2400 lbs).
