Tooling for Wheel Rim Manufacturing
XIAOYA specially developed the dies for high strength plate wheel spokes, which are suitable for automatic spoke stamping line. According to the production process in the forming, punching and reshaping of wheel spokes, mainly 7 sets of dies are involved as followings.
- Roll Forming Die
The roll forming die features a split structure to facilitate replacement and maintenance. Manufactured using Cr12MoV or other customized materials, it undergoes a vacuum heat treatment after rough machining, achieving a hardness of more than HRC60. The roll forming die then enters the quenching and CNC finishing processes to ensure the size accuracy and surface roughness.
- Flaring Die
The die core undergo a vacuum heat treatment and CNC finishing to ensure the hardness and size accuracy.
- Expanding Tool
- Work range: width 2.5inch-8inch, diameter 12inch-17.5inch
- Work range: width 6inch —11.75inch diameter 17.5inch —24.5inch
- Work range: width 8inch —20inch, diameter 19.5inch —38inch
