Description
The aluminum foil insulation XPS foam board is an extruded, closed cell foamed rigid foam board formed through a process that includes injecting a catalyst while heating and mixing a polystyrene resin and polymer. Its interior is an independent, closed bubble structure, and utilizes an environmentally friendly heat insulation material that features a number of excellent performance characteristics, including a high resistance to compression, a low water absorption rate, moisture resistant structure, airtight, lightweight, corrosion resistant, hyper aging resistant (there is little to no aging even after long term use) and a low thermal conductivity.

Application
The aluminum foil insulation XPS foam board is widely used for heat preservation applications in walls, flat concrete roofs and steel structure roofs, as well as moisture resistance and heat preservation in parking platforms, runways, and expressways. It is a heat insulation, non-hygroscopic materials that is of the highest and best quality, while still being inexpensive and affordable.

Characteristics of aluminum foil insulation XPS foam board
1. Excellent and durable heat insulation and preservation, thermal conductivity of 0.028/m.k:
the board is made of polystyrene, which originally is an excellent material with a low thermal conductivity. It is supplemented with extrusion molding in order to form a tight honeycomb structure which effectively prevents heat conduction.

2. Superior water resistance and moisture resistance:
The water absorption levels of the board are very low, with an outstanding moisture and permeation resistance performance. The board also features a tight obturator structure, while the molecular structure of polystyrene itself does not absorb water, and there are no gaps between the front and back of the board.

3. Anticorrosion and durability:
Traditional rigid foamed insulation material ages after just a few short years, resulting in a water absorption that leads to a decline in performance. Our foam board, on the other hand, still features an outstanding performance even after 30 to 40 years of exposure to high water vapor pressure, due to its excellent corrosion resistance, aging resistance and heat preservation performance.
