Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM)
The DWDM systems support ultra-long haul applications over thousands of kilometers with no need for additional expensive regenerators, as DWDM systems meet all needs for high speed, more capacity and longer distances in greenfield installations, and existing network upgrades, as well as being a requirement for the transmission of 100G and above. DWDM’s largest advantage is the use of optical amplifiers, which are a cost-effective solution for amplifying an entire DWDM spectrum over long spans of attenuations and distances. KOC’s DWDM exceeds Telcordia GR- 1221 and GR – 1209 standards, making them suitable for a variety of environments, including RoHS and WEEE. Our DWDM can also be customized according to different customer needs, as well as work in conjunction with other units to form a complete module or system.
