Electric Resistor for Water HeaterSouthern Group once produced an electric resistor for water heater for defrosting. Based on clients’ actual conditions, this electric resistor is available in resistor numbers, like 3, 5, 8, 10, etc.
- Rated power of single resistor is 16W.
- Resistance accuracy: ±5%(J) for one resistor and ±7% for complete sets of resistors.
- Temperature coefficient: α≤±250PPM/℃
- Operating temperature: -20℃~+40℃
The following two types of fusible resistor produced by Southern Group are suited for conditions where has low requirements on power and the overload and surge handling are less strict.

RXF fusible wire winding resistor is manufactured by winding resistance wire on the ceramic core and then conducting insulation encapsulation. It plays a role of fixed resistor under normal operation. Otherwise it acts as a circuit protective element and it fuses within the require time in case of overload.
