Currently, there are two types of aluminum extruder for Φ100mm-Φ50mm seamless tube on the market, long stroke extrusion equipment and short stroke extrusion equipment.
Strengths of Long Stroke Extruder
1. Unfixed dummy block can be used to save cost.
2. The diameter of extruded billets can be less than 152mm.
Strengths of Short Stroke Extruder
1. This aluminum extruder applies unfixed dummy block, which saves a lot of money for users.
2. Short-length billets can be extruded with this machine.
3. The processed parts have a rigid structure and undergo little deformation.
4. It's easy to guaranteed the accuracy of guiding rail and the shaft center of extrusion.
5. Short idle time.

Notes
Long Stroke Extrusion System
1. The deformation of aluminum parts extruded by long stroke extrusion machine is more serious than that of parts by short stroke extruder.
2. When manufacturing, it's not easy to keep the accuracy of guiding rail and the shaft center of extrusion.
3. It takes a long time for idle stroke.
Short Stroke Extrusion System
It's not appropriate to process billets with a diameter less than 152mm.
