XHHW-2 Aluminum Cable
XHHW-2 aluminum cable has a compact stranded AA-8000 series aluminum alloy conductor with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. It has good resistance against sunlight, abrasion, water and heat.
Cross-linked polyethylene high heat-resistant water-resistant wire is to be used at conductor temperatures up to 90℃ in dry, damp or wet locations. The voltage rating is 600 volts. The cable can be installed without using pulling lubricant.
Aluminum XHHW-2 cable is commonly used in conduits, feeder and branch circuits as specified in the NEC and for health care facilities according to Section 517.160 of the NEC where a dielectric constant less than 3.5 is required.
Our XHHW-2 cable meets the requirements of UL 44. It has passed the following tests: current overload test, FT2 horizontal flame test, 720h sunlight resistance test, aging test on insulation materials, dielectric voltage withstand test, etc.
