Y808 Lifecasting Silicone
The lifecasting silicone has good electrical property and high chemical stability, and is non-toxic, tasteless, water and weather proof, non-corrosive, and biological aging resistant. Meanwhile, the lifecasting silicone is physiologically inert, allowing easy pouring and operation as well as complete vulcanization. The lifecasting silicone can meet mechanical strength requirement even if the hardness is low. It is applicable for making printing pads, as the silicone provides low linear shrinkage and can restore its original hardness after long-term use.
Our lifecasting silicone is ideal material for making body organ, silicone bra, shoulder pad, and other soft silicone products. Also, it is used in the pad printing industry to make silicone pads which function as a pattern transfer carrier for electroplated product, plastic toy, electronic product, trademark, etc. The room temperature vulcanizing addition cure silicone rubber is an almost colorless translucent fluid. We can adjust its color according to the customer requirements.

Note | 1. Keep sample at room temperature for at least one hour before you take a proper amount of it for testing. Put A and B under room temperature for one hour respectively, and then mix them evenly in the ratio 1:1. Test the viscosity immediately. (A proper amount of delayed action activator is required for fast cured type lifecasting silicone). 2. Thickness of the cured test sheet should be no less than 6mm. 3. Mix A and B evenly at a ratio of 1:1 under room temperature, and record the time when crosslinking reaction occurs in the mixture. 4. The test sheet is initially vulcanized with the thickness at least 2cm, and it can be restored after extrusion. The cured sheet is made to offer standard mechanical property, which is tested by an electronic universal testing machine. |
Packaging, Storage and Transportation of the Lifecasting Silicone
1. The lifecasting silicone should be packed in clean, dry and sealed steel drums or cans. Usually it is packed in 5kg/can, 20kg/drum or 200kg/drum, and the component A and component B are packed separately.
2. Keep the lifecasting silicone in a cool and dry place. Make sure the silicone does not touch or mix with compounds containing phosphorus, tin, nitrogen, sulfur, and lead, or metal organic acid salts. Otherwise, the catalyst will be positioned, which causes the product not to be vulcanized or incompletely vulcanized.
3. The product is NOT subject to the provisions of the IMDG code. The lifecasting silicone comes with a shelf life of 18 months from the date of manufacture, and it is still usable after expiration if it is retested to be acceptable.
