Magnesium Aluminate Spinel
The magnesium aluminate spinel is a new-type synthetic refractory material featuring high purity, high volume density, great thermal shock resistance, satisfactory corrosion resistance, etc. The synthetic refractory material is able to significantly improve the slag resistance and thermal shock resistance of refectory products, fabricated parts, unshaped refectories after the magnesium aluminate spinel is added into them.
The artificial refractory material is mainly used to produce high-end magnesium aluminate spinel brick, high-performance magnesium aluminate castable, sliding nozzle, ladle brick, sliding plate for continuous casting, nozzle brick, brick for open-hearth furnace and so on, largely increasing their thermal shock resistance. The magnesium aluminate spinel is a high-purity refractory material made by fusing in an electric arc furnace, ideal for replacing magnesium-chrome refectories.
Note: sintered magnesium aluminate spinel is classified into bauxite-based sintered spinel and alumina-based high-purity sintered spinel.
