Broiler Oven
Though it looks like a BBQ grill at first glance, a closer inspection reveals a broiler oven with a moveable top heater. Some even call this kitchen equipment an upside down barbeque grill, as meat is placed under direct heat, rather than heated from below as a BBQ does.
The movable heater can move both up and down, and is a feature that is unique to this commercial broiler. With its movability, the broiler oven can change the distance from the top of the meat being heated. Manufactured from premium quality tubes, the infrared tube heater radiates heat downward, cooking the food underneath while still retaining the food’s natural juices. Variances in meat thickness, volume and shape may make changes in broiling times and temperatures necessary, and are easy to do by adjusting the height of the top heater.
