The fiber optic distribution box is an enclosure for beam splitting, splicing and termination of optical fibers. It provides protection to spliced fibers and manages fiber optic cables. XINSHENG optic fiber termination boxes boast of high quality, which have been widely found in operation on many fiber optic installation projects and at optic fiber maintenance job sites.

Features of Fiber optic Distribution Box
1. The fiber optic termination box provides accommodations for the PLC splitter, with which optical signals are transmitted over the fiber line in 12, 24, 36, or 48 sub-channels. This splice enclosure also offers protection to terminated fiber–optic cables and allows ease of operation.
2. The protective cover is a tough plastic part made by injection-molding pellets of flame-retardant engineering plastics and polycarbonates. In terms of hardness, this injection molded plastic is on a par with alloy steel. The injection molded plastic cover offers a smooth surface, high impact resistance, and maximum protection.
3. Available with a burglar-proof lock, the box provides maximum safety while users can easily access the box with the key.
4. Unique living hinge allows operators to easily remove the box cover during fiber optic system construction and re-assemble the structure to facilitate pigtail splicing.
5. This fiber optic distribution box leaves space for splice trays which accept 1 to 48-strand fiber optic cable. The splice tray is where the pigtail fiber is joined to the field fiber end-to-end by way of fusion splicing.
6. Removable splice trays can be flipped up through 180 degrees.
7. Rubber-coated fiber passes through the termination box via inlet ports and outlet ports. Cable installation is easily done.
8. The splice storage tray is separated from the tray where fusion splicing occurs.
9. If any of our standard fiber optic distribution boxes does not appeal to you, contact us to get a customized termination box design.
