For die casting parts, the general processing flow includes die casting, degating, grinding, CNC machining, drilling and tapping, polishing, full-inspection and spray painting, among which post processing technology is an important part. Our company has 130 staff members for post processing, 7 sets of grinding machines, 25 sets of drilling and tapping machines, 3 sets of finish brushing machines, 4 painted parts grinding lines and 2 deburring lines.
All products are produced in an assembly line method to avoid missing any procedures. In addition, at the last procedure of each line, we have thorough-inspection personnel for 100% testing of products. Each process is set up with in process quality control (IPQC) measures to carry out first article inspection (FAI) and routing inspection.
Normally, if you have no special requirements for surface treatment, die casting products are processed with a simple treatment, such as applying antirust oil. This treatment can improve the appearance and protect the surface from the environment, satisfying basic appearance and performance requests.
For some die castings with special appearance or performance requests, KingCasting can meet those demands. Generally, the surface treatment for zinc, aluminum products is as follows:- For surface treatment of aluminum parts: sandblasting, shot-blasting, black anodizing, powder coating, liquid spraying etc.
- For surface treatment of zinc parts: powder coating, liquid spraying, bright chrome electroplating, pearl chrome electroplating etc.
- Powder coatingMainly used for outdoor used or products without particularly high requirements on coated appearance.
- Electrostatic sprayingMainly applied to electronic products, featuring excellent surface effects and decoration.
- SandblastingGives workpiece surfaces certain cleanness and different roughnesses, so as to improve their mechanical properties.
- Shot-blastingTo make more uniform and smooth product surface, as well as to improve surface roughness and remove burrs left on the product from machining.
- Bright chrome, pearl chrome electroplatingTo give die castings the best appearance and improve the grade of products, generally used for zinc parts.
