Recycled Polyester Fabric
Recycled fiber reuses materials like polyester fabric and polyester bottles as raw materials. After a series of processes such as crushing, washing, drying, melt extrusion, spinning and so on, the fiber grade polyester material is produced. The fabric made by this fiber is similar to pure polyester fabric and even hard to distinguish, not only in the feeling and appearance but also in the intrinsic qualities.
Kingda TN series materials are made from 100% recycled polyester fabric, which have three main advantages:
Environmental Protection
Because the polyester is non-degradable, in America, there are tons of polyester fabrics from clothing and household decoration cloth factory abandoned as scraps every year, which is a huge waste. What’s more, the non-degradability of polyester brings pollution to the environment. If these materials can be recycled by polyester recycling technology, it will not only protect the environment but also save resources, which is a two-pronged victory for the company and the environment.
Cheap Price
The cost of raw materials is obviously lower than traditional fabrics by using recyclable raw materials, and the manufacturing cost is also cheap. This recycled polyester fabric has a very broad application prospect in many areas, such as medical, military and outdoor recreation, which need cheap and short-term use warm textiles.
High Color Fastness
Since most single fibers are close to cylindrical, the reflection of light is strong, which also means it has a low UV absorption. Considering this characteristic of the fiber, Kingda adopts high-temperature rolling and thermosol dyeing process while dyeing. Thus, the recycled polyester fabric produced by Kingda has higher color fastness and brighter printing color.
The picture below is the color fastness testing report of black recycled polyester fabrics as samples. By testing, the dry rubbing color fastness of Kingda recycled polyester fabric is 4 grade, and the wet rubbing color fastness comes to 4-5 grade.
