Conventional Single-phase Pole-mounted Distribution Transformer
Characteristics
1. For the conventional single-phase pole-mounted distribution transformer, the high voltage porcelain bushing installed on the top of the cover band is outfitted with eyebolt terminal, and the undercut gasket seats offer better sealing result. The terminal, made from cast bronze and plated with tin, fits for connection to copper or aluminum cable.
2. The one-piece fasten ring achieves different functions, such as extending the service life of our product, facilitating inspection process, maintaining uniform pressure around the entire rim, etc. Meanwhile, it works together with a specially made tank rim, drawn cover and gasket to realize reliable sealing performance.
3. The tank wall mounted low voltage bushings have annular shaped terminals that are plated with tin.
4. This conventional pole-mounted distribution transformer is equipped with self-sealing pressure relief valve, while the upper and lower hanger brackets which are manufactured by hot rolled steel and are welded to the tank, are in accordance with ANSI standard. The ground connector is ring-type and bolted.
5. In general, every piece of our products adopts self-sealing cylindrical structure, and employs lifting lug, grounding device, pressure relief valve and other components. In addition, there is one or two high voltage bushings on the cover, and the low voltage bushings are mounted on the wall, and eyebolt terminals are applied for the bushings.
Advantages
The conventional distribution transformer makes use of highly efficient and energy saving wound core, and our product is mounted on the pole, thereby cutting down the installation size, construction cost and low-voltage power supply radius. As a result, the low voltage line loss is reduced by as much as 60% or more, and the power supply quality is enhanced. Moreover, this device is featured by excellent overload capability, convenient maintenance, continuous and reliable working, etc.
Applications
Our conventional pole-mounted distribution transformer is commonly used in various places including rural areas, remote regions and scattered villages to provide high quality power supply for daily lighting, agricultural production and industrial plants. Aside from these, it is also suitable for the energy saving projects for railway and urban grid.
