The ASA roof tile is a kind of Spanish style synthetic resin roof tile. The main material ASA is acquired from SABIC, one of the Global 500 companies. ASA is a kind of ternary polymer co-extruded by three kinds of materials at one time: acrylonitrile,styrene, and acrylate. Either two-layer or three-layer co-extrusion technology is typically applied for the material production.
ASA has outstanding corrosion resistance and anti-UV performance, which provides our ASA roofing tiles with long term color stability and long service life. In addition, our environmental friendly products are also resistant to water, fire, and weather, and have good heat and sound insulation performances. These Spanish roof tiles can withstand strong winds and earthquakes, and their light weight ensures easy installation. The Spanish style ASA roof tiles are available with a full range of accessories for installation.
Installation Guides
1. The compatible purline options include square tube (60×40×3mm), C-type section steel (100×50×20×3mm) and anticorrosive wood (60×40mm).
2. The space between purlines should be 660mm, and the purlines are supposed to be arranged from bottom to top.
3. Install the main tile in the reverse direction to the local wind direction. Overlapping of ASA roof tiles can be conducted synchronously in both directions.
4. Before installing the ridge tiles, please cut out a section from the first piece.
5. The overlapped section between the ridge tile and the hip tile should be cut smooth. The three-way ridge tile should be installed after both the ridge and hip tiles are finished installation.
6. Special fittings are provided for the fixation of our ASA roof tiles. The electric dill has to be adopted to create holes on the tile surface, and the hole-diameter should be 2mm larger than the screw diameter of hook nail.
7. We recommend choosing self-tapping screws and the waterproof fittings provided by our company for the tile installation.
