How does a Fractional CO2 laser work during treatments?
Fractional CO2 lasers emit a far-infrared laser beam with a wavelength of 10600nm that forms a focused laser beam dot that can penetrate through the corium layer of skin to form conical holes that can stimulate regrowth and recombination of tissue collagen. The operator directly controls the output model of the fractional CO2 laser including the fractional spot size, dot density, length, shape, and each tiny dot diameter and depth. Shrinking the conical holes results in great skin-resurfacing and rejuvenating effects, creating smoother, younger looking skin.
