VRL system
The VRL system uses an articulate arm probe with automatic 360° rotation technology, producing 50-70℃ at a controlled depth inside the vaginal mucosa. This stimulates collagen contraction, restructuring and regeneration. This system also promotes collagen fiber proliferating, and remodeling as well as improving vaginal mucosa microcirculation. Cell secretion and a dynamic reaction function are increased, leading to a significant improvement in firmness and nourishment to the female genital area.

Fractional system
Fractional ablative CO2 resurfacing delivers a 10600nm laser in a fractional manner into the skin while leaving the untreated surrounding areas intact. The laser creates a microscopic thermal dot on the surface, and performs within the tissue, improving skin tightness, removing age spots, fine lines, acnes scars and stretch marks as well as achieving a vulva rejuvenation. The untreated tissue helps to accelerate the healing process and rejuvenate the skin by promoting microcirculation and new cell genesis.

FAQ
1. How long does the laser vaginal rejuvenation take?
The surgical time depends on the extent of the procedure. In general, it takes about an hour.

2. I have vaginal relaxation on the bottom floor of my vagina and the perineal body. Can I still undergo laser vaginal rejuvenation?
In this case, we need to only repair the lower floor of the vagina and the perineal body (area just outside the vagina). In this case, vaginal relaxation is usually less extensive. Laser vaginal rejuvenation has also been known to lead to an enhanced or renewed sexual gratification.

3. I haven’t had children, but do have some vaginal relaxation. I would like to enhance the vaginal muscle tone and strength, as well as decrease the diameter. Is it possible for me to have a procedure?
Depending on your circumstances, you may be a candidate for laser vaginal rejuvenation. The procedure primarily involves the bottom part of the vagina and the perineal body.

4. What type of anesthesia is available?
We provide a selection of anesthesia by our board certified anesthesiologist, including local, nerve block, epidural, spinal, IV sedation or general. Some types are dependent on the procedure.

5. When can I resume having sex after the procedure?
We ask that you refrain from sexual intercourse for at least 6 weeks.

6. When can I return to work after the procedure?
In general, returning to work is dependent on what type of work you do. Most patients return in 5 to 7 days.

7. How much discomfort will I have afterwards?
With our technique of submucosal tumescence, pudendal block with a long acting local anesthetic, patients are generally pain free for the first 18 to 24 hours. After this, most patients report a mild to moderate discomfort, easily controlled with analgesics and cold packs to the area.

8. My inner vaginal lips (labia minora) are too long. Can I have them reduced?
The labia minora can be aesthetically sculptured to your specifications with a laser reduction labioplasty.

9. My vaginal opening is tight, and I can’t have penetration without discomfort. Can this be corrected?
A tight vaginal opening may result from previous surgeries and scarring. It is also a common problem in aging patients due to a lack of estrogen or a lack of sexual intercourse for a long period of time. Surgical correction is safe and effective.
