Steel Pipe Cross
Steel pipe crosses can be equal or reducing pipe fittings used where the pipelines branch. The equal cross has four pipe connecting ports with the same diameter. As for the reducing cross, its connecting ports for main pipes have the same diameter, its connecting ports for branch pipes have smaller diameters than the ports for main pipes.
Application
Our straight or reducing cross can be used in the drilling of high pressure oil and gas wells to control wellhead pressure. This wellhead control product is applicable for high pressure oil and gas wells with wellhead pressures not exceeding 70Mpa. You can conduct blow-off prevention or throttling operation by connecting the steel pipe cross to the corresponding valves and pipes. The cross fitting may also act as a connector between the blow-off preventer and the wellhead.
