Laying Nest
Description
Laying nests are used to provide shelter for egg laying hens. With air vents on both the left and right sides, each nest hole is guaranteed to have an outstanding ventilation. To prevent the chickens from standing on top of the laying nest, perches are made using a variety of materials designed to act as a deterrent to standing on the roof. A 24 nest egg box is large enough for 96 hens to lay eggs.
The laying nest is made using a corrosion resistant, high quality galvanized sheet, with a zinc content of 275 grams/square meter, and thickness of 0.5mm.
The nest bottoms use both modified PP plastics and galvanized sheets. An artificial rubber nest pad can be added upon customer request.
The perches are made of high quality wood, ensuring they are smooth, flat, and corrosion resistant.
The box features a double layer design, so that the nest hole can be both deeper and widened by up to an additional 40mm from the standard size.
The nest roof features an expulsion system to keep nest surfaces clean.
With a strong, durable construction, the laying nest hutch has a service life of more than 10 years. An automatic egg collection mode is available upon request.
