Type UC Casing Slips
The type UC casing slip is a kind of multi-segment slip with light weight and robust structure, and it is applicable for different-sized casings even when casings suffer from wear and tear.
Feature
Being compliant with API Spec 7K and SY/T 5049-91, this well drilling slip provides firm and wrap-around gripping for casings, and its gripping range is pretty wide.

Direction for Use
1. Before use, please measure the outer diameter of casing to make sure whether our casing slips are applicable.
2. Model selection should be carried out according to casing OD and load capacity.
3. Regulate gripping range by adding/reducing segments and changing dies.
4. Check if all hinge pins are smooth and without jamming.
5. Don't knock on handles and the back side of slip segment with a hammer, and it is also not allowed to drop our product from above.
6. Please wash casing slips regularly to keep them clean, and lubricating grease is necessary for rotational parts and tapered surfaces.
7. Inspect casing slip frequently, and the check list includes:
a. Make sure that dies are tight enough to avoid falling off.
b. Check if dies are blunt.
c. Use a straightedge to examine abrasion condition on taper surfaces.
d. Check hinge pins to see if they are worn.
8. If dies suffer from wear and tear, please replace all of them in time, and don't use new and old dies at the same time to avoid damage to insert, segment and drill collar.
9. Remove abrasive substances on tapered surfaces to alleviate wear.
10. Frequently check wear condition of tapered surfaces, and change slip segments according to inspection result. Otherwise, when our casing slip deals with small-diameter casings, the casings may fall off.
11. If our product is going to be idle for a long time, please clean it and coat it with anti-rust oil, then store it in a dry and cool place.
12. It is strictly prohibited for customers to repair our casing slips when they are seriously worn. If customers insist on doing this, we are not responsible for inferior gripping performance which may lead to safety incidents.
