Quick release mooring hook is an essential equipment for modern jetty that enables ship mooring ropes to be secured and provides safe mooring operations. Utilizing electrical foot switch, operator can activate the capstan, so as to enable the mooring ropes to be dragged and hooked. The mooring hook can be operated manually by means of a release lever to release the mooring ropes.
Features
- The mooring hook can be released manually with a maximum effort of 170N, which makes it possible to be operated by single person.
- Each mooring hook can be released independently from the other, regardless of whether it is slack or under full working load.
- Movable release lever is adopted for manual releasing operation. The release mechanism is installed within the side plates, enabling the hooks and ropes to be protected from damage.
- Engineering plastic alloy impact pads are equipped to prevent dangerous sparks caused by friction and impaction.
- All hooks are tested at a load which equals to 125% safe working load (SWL), and released under the full safe working load.
