Introduction

Laser thickness gauging equipment is generally made up of two laser displacement sensors. These sensors are used to measure two different surface positions, so that material thickness can then be calculated. Advantages of the laser thickness gauging equipment include a no-contact measuring with a high precision, measuring results that are more accurate than a contact thickness gauge, a higher precision than ultrasonic thickness gauge, and no radiation pollution compared to an X-ray thickness gauge. The automatic laser thickness gauging machine is equipped with 1~3 groups of laser thickness measuring heads for customers to choose from, 3~9 thickness points to choose from, and a thickness precision up to ±2μm and measurable range of 0.05~3.2mm.
