Water-soluble thread will partially dissolve in water at a temperature of 60℃ and fully dissolve in water of 80℃ without residue. Compared to water-soluble spun threads, this water-soluble filament features a fine fiber, even thickness and excellent solubility. It is mainly used in manufacturing high quality yarn and sewing high-end clothing.

This product is available at two different dissolving temperatures for customers to choose from according to their needs: 20℃ and 80℃.

Common Applications

① Due to the even thickness of the filament, this water-soluble thread is able to spin with a variety of natural fibers. After the filament dissolves in water, a high quality yarn is left behind.
② Spinning with yarns such as spinning wool, cashmere, and others to produce fine count yarns.
③ Used in special weaving processes to enhance the strength and weavability of spun yarns.
④ Its thermal contraction makes it ideal for bunching spinning wool and cashmere. After thermal processing, the water soluble thread will contract, then dissolve in water to make the sweater softer and fluffier.
⑤ Use it to temporarily connect your products during apparel manufacturing. For example, you can use water-soluble thread to connect two socks, then separate the socks after they have been dyed by washing off the water-soluble thread to separate them by hand or machine to save time any money.
