Features of the Solar Module
1. Microcontroller
Due to the use of single chip microcomputer, also called microcontroller, the solar lighting system realizes overcharge and over discharge protection, thus effectively prolonging battery’s life. In addition, it offers over-discharge voltage recovery control function, ensuring that lighting at low voltage will not flicker.
2. Standby with Ultra-Low Power Consumption
If there is no power output from the solar module in 5 minutes it is started, the system will automatically turn into a ultra-low power consumption standby mode.
3. USB Output Overload Protection
USB output features overload protection which enables the output to be automatically closed when the current is over 1000mA, the maximum current for charging digital products.
4. Lighting Output Overload Protection
When the power output for illuminating is over 3A, the system will automatically shut off the current to protect the module from being damaged.
5. Non-Interfering Charging and Discharging
Non-interfering charging and discharging function enable the solar module to discharge to recharge your mobile devices while charging itself in the sun.
6. Charge and Discharge Indication Function
The solar powered LED light is designed with indicators to show its charging and discharging state. In charging, the red indicator light will be on and as it is fully charged, the green one will light. In discharging, the green indicator keeps lighting, and the red one will light at low voltage protection.
7. Charging by AC Power Adapter Optional
Aside from charging in the sun, the solar module can also be charged by an AC power adapter.
