Packed Absorption Column
The packed absorption column is a waste gas handling system typically used to absorb acidic and alkaline gases produced during industrial processes using sulfuric acid (H2SO4), nitric acid (HNO3), and chloride acid (HCL). It is featured by compact structure, small footprint, good resistance to corrosion and aging, lightweight, easy installation, transportation and maintenance.
PP/PPH used in the absorption column is an odorless and non-toxic highly crystalline polymer that offers good chemical resistance to most organic and inorganic acids & salts and many organic solvents. In contrast to many other materials, it is a most commonly used material due to its features of lightweight, good chemical resistance, long lifespan and high stress fracture resistance, particularly used in high-temperature applications.
