Lighting Control Software, ColorMaster
ColorMaster™: Lighting Effect Model
ColorMaster™ is a patented software developed by StrongLED for large outdoor architectural and decorative LED lighting. The software for lighting control displays the position of each light and allows the user to adjust simply and easily from the main controller, even if the LED luminaires are connected in a complex or non-standard manner.
The stage window of the real-time media player maps the relative positions of the lights and how the light is distributed. This map is saved as a .sge format file, which can be input as a media source.
The light effects can be set up in the stage window scene by scene with the flash file. After each scene, the LED pixel positions and how they are connected are saved in both .shw files and .grd files. The whole process is called "Gither Pixel.”
ColorMaster™ can support both off-line preset program plays and real-time play. The .shw files can be played on a range of StrongLED players such as VCC600. DMX400 and others.
ColorMaster™ also features a pixel real-time converter, showing the relationship of the lighting effect on the main controller display monitor and the locations of the lights based on the LED luminaire connections in the .grd files, allowing users to play video on irregularly shaped LED displays.
The figure shows the interface of ColorMaster™ and the distribution of LED luminaire locations on a Ferris wheel.
