Cold Rolled 409L Stainless Steel Coil
Description409L/S40903 stainless steel coils are made of super-austenitic steel for excellent oxidation resistance and weldability.
One of most popular uses for 409L stainless steel is in the car exhaust system, where it is employed to construct the muffler, exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter shell. While this grade of steel has relatively low corrosion and oxidation resistance levels, the material still proves far better than the mild steel.
