Long Link Chain (HDG)
As a fishery chain manufacturer that specializes in providing a wide selection of G60/70 long link chains, we can also provide a long link, hot dip galvanized chain. This type of open link chain is a high tensile strength mooring chain with long links that allows for the use of shackles. The hot dip galvanized coating provides maximum wear and corrosion resistance. It is used for dropping fish traps and fishing nets into the deep sea. As our lightest trawl chain, the galvanized long link chain is commonly used in trawl door applications, and is not suitable for hoisting and lifting. Its longer link dimensions make the long link chain more versatile than the mid link chain and allows for a more even rig position. The HDG chain is usually coated with black paint on the surface.
