Steering Gear
Through our R&D efforts, the rotary vane steering gear eliminates the problem of internal leakage which plagues many hydraulic steering gears. Our marine steering gears, approved by CCS, BV, etc., are widely used accessories for a number of different vessels. With high maneuverability, the rudder angle of the rotary vane hydraulic steering gear for ships has a maximum range of ±65°. The rated torque can be obtained at any rudder angle to ensure sufficient maneuverability in narrow wharf areas.
Features of the Rotary Vane Steering Gear
1. Compact, taking up little floor space.
2. Wide rudder angle range, up to ±65°.
3. Easy installation for all kinds of rudders. No need of rudder bearing.
4. Good sealing performance with rudder deviation speed less than 0.5°/min.
5. Low noise and good impact resistance.
Compared with rotary vane steering gears from other Chinese steering gear manufacturers, our product has the following advantages
1. High reliability: Even after 3,000 hours of continuous reliability test, no failures occurred.
2. Environmental adaptability: Results from both the environmental test and the electromagnetic compatibility test met the requirements of GJB150A-2009 standards.
3. High performance and low internal leakage. Leakage volume is half that of industry standards and the products mass is 85-90% of industry standards, leading to low heat generation and high efficiency.
