S235, S355, SS400, SM490
Pipe Performance
1. The hot dip galvanized pipe for gas transportation is made from premium quality strip steels that are sheared longitudinally;
2. The average gram weight of zinc coating is more than or equal to 500g/m2.
3. Before delivery, the steel gas pipes will go through 100% leakage test, 100% mechanical and chemical test, 100% technological property test and 100% UT test.
Nominal Diameter, Outer Diameter and Wall Thickness (Unit: mm)
Nominal Diameter | Outer Diameter | Wall Thickness | Pieces per bundle
Common steel pipe | Thickened steel pipe

125 | 139.7 | 4.0 | 5.5 | 19 |
150 | 168.3 | 4.5 | 6.0 | 19 |
Note: The nominal diameter in the table is approximate to the nominal inner diameter. It does not simply represent the inner diameter that is obtained by subtracting twice wall thicknesses from the outer diameter. |
Outer Diameter | Allowable deviation of outer diameter | Allowable deviation of wall thickness
Pipe body | Pipe end (Within 100mm to the pipe end)
D≤48.3 | ±0.5 | - | ±10%t |
48.3 < D≤273.1 | ±1%D | - | |
273.1 < D≤508 | ±0.75%D | 2.4 -0.8 |
