Mancozeb
Mancozeb is a kind of outstanding protective fungicide which belongs to a low-toxicity pesticide. Due to wide sterilization and difficult production of resistance, its control performance is superior to that of other similar fungicides. Then, its dosage is very large in the world.
Uses
1. Mancozeb is used to protect various fruits, vegetables, nuts and field crops against a wide spectrum of fungal diseases including potato blight, leaf spot, scab (on apples and pears), and rust (on roses).
2. As a seed treatment chemical, it is used for cotton, potatoes, corns, safflower, sorghum, peanuts, tomatoes, flax, and cereal grains.
3. This product is available as dusts, liquids, water dispersible granules, wettable powders, and ready-to-use formulations. It may be commonly found in combination with zineb and maneb.
