Drill Pipe Elevator
The CDZ series drill pipe elevator is designed and manufactured as per API Spec 8C, and its 18-degree tapered shoulders optimize alignment with drill pipe whose diameter ranges from 23/8 EU to 51/2 IEU.
Feature
1. The 18 degree side latch elevator is mainly composed of body, door, handle and locking pins. The body and door undergo special surface treatment to enhance their wear resistance for the purpose of extending our product’s life span, while the locking pins are technically retrofitted to allow operators to make sure whether the door is open or closed, thereby significantly cutting down the risk of safety accident.
2. Our drill pipe elevator passes strict strength test and nondestructive test to ensure its superior structural strength and wear resistance.
3. This oil drilling elevator is made from high quality alloy steel, and it also receives special heat treatment. As a result, it boasts light weight, small size and large capacity, thus greatly alleviating operators’ burden.
Application
As a drill pipe handling tool, our drill pipe elevator is commonly adopted to suspend, lower or raise drill pipe, sucker rod, casing and tubing when conducting workovers as well as drilling oil wells, gas wells or exploratory wells.
