Cargo Truck Manufacturing Assembly Line Case Study
The assembly line is mainly used for assembling heavy duty trucks and other body-on-frame vehicles.
TaskThe final assembly workshop’s production task is assembling the cargo truck. The assembly process includes the chassis installation, engine installation, cab trim, installation, accessories installation and the final assembly.
The cargo truck manufacturing assembly line includes an electric flat transfer car, a chassis pre-assembly line, a tilter, a final assembly double slat chain conveyor, a cab trim line, an engine assembly line, an electric overhead monorail conveyor for cab assembly, a headlight tester, a rain test and drying chamber, a KBK system, a whole line lighting and gas supply system and a support and hanger system.
Assembly process- Chassis line
With the ground chain conveyor system, the assembly line will install both front and back suspensions, axle and drive shafts, and complete the chassis turnover process. It will then install the cable harness, power steering system, engine, automatic transmission, transmission shaft, radiator, muffler, exhaust pipes, fuel tank and other components.
- Cab trim line
With the slat conveyor line, the line will complete cab trim assembly, including the installation of the windscreen, circuit, trim material, car dashboard, car dashboard and other components.
- Final assembly line
With the dual slat conveyor line, the line is used for the final assembly.
