CBB61-P2 Air Conditioner Capacitor (Explosion Proof Series)
We manufacture our air conditioner capacitor with electrical grade polypropylene film, safety metalized electrode and 94V0-class flame retardant plastic shell. This explosion proof capacitor is enveloped with epoxy resin and has standard terminal leads.
Owing to special manufacturing process, our anti-explosion capacitor has the characteristics of stable electrical performance, reliable safety performance, excellent anti-explosion performance and so on. Our air conditioner capacitor’s protection class of anti-explosion performance is P2. This metallized film capacitor is applicable to high-end air conditioner.
Typical Circuit Diagram of Air Conditioner CapacitorThe Explosion Protection Theory
The metallized electrode has micro-fuse mesh structure (see figure below). When accident occurs, the metallized electrode can cut off the power supply through disconnecting the micro fuse, preventing the accident’s expansion and protecting capacitors.
- Normal status
- The fuse in small unit takes action to disengage from the open circuit and realize partial protection.
- After the capacitor looses efficacy, the internal fuse is completely disconnected and the capacitor is in the status of open circuit.
