Presentation
The SFP 10G-ER 10Gbps SFP optical transceiver is a small form factor pluggable module for duplex optical data communication systems with up to 10G transmission. Its SFP 20-pin connector allows for hot plugging.
This optical module was designed for single mode fiber systems and operates at a nominal wavelength of 1550nm. The transmission section uses a 1550nm EML, which is a class 1 laser compliant according to international safety standards IEC-60825.
The receiver section uses an integrated detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post amplifier IC.
