Stainless Steel Sheet
Did you know that stainless steel have different grades? There is no significant advantage to one grade or another, but each type of stainless steel is better for a specific job than other types. When choosing either stainless steel sheet or plate for a job, it is important to know the difference between different classes of stainless steel, whether it is cold rolled or hot rolled.
Allianz Metal Products has the widest range of stainless steel sheets and plates in stock. Using world-class steel processing and test equipment, and working from coil, sheet or plate, we do shearing, cutting, surface finishing, forming, flat rolling, panel beating, welding and machining as required. Our range of stainless steel processing services is one of the most complete in the industry, and we have built a reputation as a one-stop source for stainless steel stock products. Our stainless steel sheet and plate are typically built to JISG, ASTM, EN, and GB standards.
By adding various elements to steel, such as chromium, nickel, carbon, etc., one can create a total of 150 different grades of stainless steel, though only one third of them are the most commonly used including: 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel.
Allianz stainless steel sheets and plates are available in various types according to the different elements they contain, such as the austenitic stainless steel, ferritic stainless steel, nickel-based alloy, duplex stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, and super-austenitic steel, etc.
