C5 hydrocarbon resin is usually light yellow, and has an excellent fluidity and thermal stability to enhance paint toughness, hardness, and adhesion, which forms a smooth finish and prevents paint cracking. This resin is most often used in traffic paint, radial tires, pressure-sensitive adhesives and other fields.
The ALX™-R6100 petroleum resin is most often applied to road paint. This particular hydrocarbon resin enhances the coating toughness, hardness and adhesion of the paint to form a smooth finish, and improve the drying rate.
ALX™-1100 petroleum resin is made from mixed monomers that are petroleum in origin. The hydrocarbon resin is thermoplastic, has a low molecular weight and is an aliphatic C5 resin.

The C5 hydrocarbon resin should also not be moved together with spontaneously consumable materials, strong oxidants or strong acids. When storing this resin, keep the storage area ventilated, cool and dry.
