Exploration Core Drilling Rig, Vertical Type XY-2
Exploration core drilling rig, vertical type XY-2 is a half shallow hole core drilling rig which has small size and light weight. It is suitable for use with drill bits that made of materials such as diamonds and alloys for core drilling. In addition, it is applicable in geological prospecting, hydrology, drilling for water well and large diameter drilling projects. It weighs only 950kg excluding the engine and can be transported in 8 different parts where the largest part has weight 140kg. Therefore, it is suitable for works in mountainous areas as it can be transported easily. The drilling depth is 100-530m. It advantages include light weight, good quality, high installing power, wide range of performance and strong adaptability.

Features- Drill rig is equipped with 8 gear and rational range of rotational speed. It has greater low-speed torque and wide range of usage.
- The drill rig is equipped with 2 gear of counter-clockwise rotational speed (51 r/min, 242 r/min), suitable for handling particular incidents.
- The drill has vertical spindle stroke up to 600mm. This helps to increase the work efficiency and reducing the occurrence of incidents such as blockage during drilling, burning of the drill rig and so on.
- Simple and reliable mounting, high speed drilling and outstanding stability.
- The drill rig runs on dual oil pump. It is less power consuming and has lower oil temperature of the hydraulic system.
- The drilling pressure gauge and the pressure gauge of the hydraulic system are integrated into one body. Besides, it has oil-filled shock-proof structure.
- The drilling pressure gauge has simple scale with accurate instructions. Besides, it has long lifespan.
- Less controlling handles, reasonable distribution, flexible and reliable operation.
- In spite high speed drilling, low speed drilling into large diameter can be conducted as well.
- It is equipped with mechanical manual lower chuck besides closed hydraulic upper chuck.
