UHMWPE is a kind of engineering plastic featuring high strength and abrasion resistance, which makes it the perfect material to take the abuse from vehicles and objects bumping and scraping into these plastic pads.
Features of UHMWPE Dock Bumper
1. High wear resistance: static friction coefficient of 0.07
2. Corrosion resistance: the UHMWPE machined parts can withstand concentrated hydrochloric acid at 80℃, 75% concentrated sulfuric acid, and 20% nitric acid
.3. Impact resistance: 20 times higher than PVC, 10 times higher than nylon 66 and 8 times higher than PTFE.
4. Low temperature resistance: -269 ℃
5. Electrical properties: breakdown voltage of 50KV/mm, dielectric constant of 2.3.
6. Tasteless, non-toxic, odorless, non-corrosive.
